The idea of being great can be defined in many different ways. But while many people might associate greatness with success and fame, I think it boils down to one simple word; Courage.
If I were to ask what your courageous scale looked like, what would you say? Do you even have a clue? Have you settled for an average of 4.5, or are you daring to be great by chasing after a 9 or 10?
- Are you settling for mediocrity?
- Are you afraid of failure/criticism?
- Are you settling for the status-quo?
Dare To Be Great.
If you’re not daring to be great, you’re not truly seeking the potential God has given you. Be willing to step off the boat, rebuild the wall, and face the giant that nobody else has stepped up to. If you’re not going to do it, who will?
- Courage = success.
- Courage = greatness.
Better to try and fail then to never have tried at all. You weren’t meant to sit on the sidelines and pass out water. You were made for something greater than yourself. It’s not just gonna walk itself up to you. You must be willing to chase after it with tenacity and desire.
Chase After It!
Choose to be brave. Choose to be courageous. Choose to reach the greatness God has instilled within you.
“This is my command–be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”—Joshua 1:9
