You’re Not Justin Bieber

We all have role models, mentors and people we look up to. But how often does our fleshly fascination get in the way of our personal identification?

Some Facts:

1) You’re not Francis Chan

2) You’re not Kobe Bryant

3) You’re not Justin Bieber

4) You’re not Ryan Gosling

5) You’re not Katy Perry

And unless Francis Chan, Kobe Bryant, Justin Bieber, Ryan Gosling, or Katy Perry read this…. these facts will stay true.

Think about it…

Although you may look up to them, want to preach like them, play like them, sing like them, or even look like them… At the end of the day, NOTHING will make that happen. Why? Because you’re NOT them! Let go, and embrace who God created YOU to be.

God designed you with your own: Unique look, way of preaching, style of singing, and divine purpose. God has created you for something greater than you could ever imagine.

No matter what the world says, or what standard you ”think” you need to live up to, NEVER give up YOUR identity for theirs. You are your own person, set apart from the beginning of time (Jer. 1:5).

Don’t let your fleshly fascination get in the way of our personal identification.

We are set apart, not set in pairs.
