4 Things God Won’t Hold Against You

Ever question whether or not you are “good enough” to be a Christian or holy enough to be loved by God? Well, here are 4 things God won’t hold against you.

1. Your Past

Relax, you have already been forgiven. When it comes to a relationship with Jesus, don’t ever expect to run into resentment from Christ himself. Your past has been forgiven, and the future looks bright for all those willing to walk in the light of His presence. Jesus will forgive you of your past, even if you have yet to forgive yourself.

 2. Your Mistakes

We’ve all made mistakes, but the beauty of the cross is that Jesus died for them. Your sins have been wiped clean, and your heart has been renewed by the grace of Jesus himself.  Your mistakes do not define you. Your failures don’t have to haunt you. Your mishaps don’t need to be accounted for. God forgives you for your mistakes, even if you have yet to forgive yourself of them.

 3. Your Confusion

It’s ok to be hurt, confused, and questioning what’s taking place. God understands everything you are going through, even if you do not. He can take the punches, if you will take the time to seek his guidance. The reality of your confusion may be due to a lock of Biblical knowledge, or spiritual guidance. Confusion comes and goes, but the love of God is for eternity.

 4. Your Addictions

The reality is that everyone is addicted something. No matter if your struggle is drugs, alcohol, sex or pornography; your addictions will not keep the relentless love of Jesus from embracing you. Take a deep breath and find peace in knowing that you are not alone or ignored.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”—Romans 3:23-26

A Really good Way to Overcome an Addiction is just to not think about it as soon at you feel like that thought is entering into your mind
1.) Drop down to your Knees and pray no matter where you are or the Circumstance you are in God loves you and if you meet him half way he WILL do the Rest! I have Felt this in my Own Life! (:
2.) If you know of ANY Church Hymns or Anything Related to that (Like a Good Message) Then Listen to that Will Help Rid those Corrupted Thoughts out of your Mind!
3.) If you know of ANYONE you can call to help Comfort you like a Friend or your Parents /Pastor Or Bishop then do so they can Really help you if they are Truely your Friend! (:

Thank you for posting this. I often fall into the trap of believing that God is still angry or frustrated with me (been wrestling with that lately) and need to be reminded that because of Jesus and His sacrifice, I am completely forgiven and do not have to fear wrath or feel like God is disappointed in me. Thank you for that reminder. I love reading your blog!
